Switch jets to use ghosts in Banshee Wars

In the banshee wars read me it explains how to do this, but ill try to make it easier.

You will need the Halo PC Meta Offset list :
http://www.halomods.com/downloads/pafil ... ile&id=108
And a Hex Editor, I use Hex Workshop

If you click Vehicles, and scroll down to Scorpion, you will see the scorpion offset is : 0xc19724

Open the deathisland.map file in your Hex editor and go to the scorpion offset. (in Hex Workshop, Hit Ctr-G and type the offset in there). You will see the code for the Jet in there (78F1 5740) in its place. Go ahead and type over that with the scorpian meta value from the offset list (2ce7 5b40).
Now your scorpion is back as a scorpion!

Next step is to basically do the same thing to another vehicle. I picked the Ghost because, well, its worthless.

GoTo the ghost offset (c1aec4) and it type in the Jet meta value in its place (78F1 5740).
There you go!

When you save in Hex Workshop it will ask if you want to backup your map. If you havent already, you SHOULD do this.

Using this same technique, you can make most thing happen, such as turning your sniper rifle bullet into a tank shell, or a grendade.

Enjoy!

Hmm
So, unless some specifically ASKED for something one shouldn't try to help people out and post on how to do something?

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought the point was to help and instruct other board members who may not know how to do this.

I find this useful, as I want to make the Jet be something else other than the scorpion

THANKS! (PS: I asked for this in a thread a coupel days ago!)

what offset would I change to make the Jet's fuelroddy thing be a tank turrent instead?

In the offset list, click on Projectiles and the Tank Shell offset.

Then in the BansheeWars read me, it states at the bottom what the weapon offsets are.

Go to the offset for that weapon and replace it with the meta for the Tank Shell you found above.

If you find it completely worthless and it bothers you that much then delete the post and stop acting like a child.
