[Sources, Apps, & Tut's]Programing For Halo 2 *VB and C#
I always get questions on how I make my Halo 2 Applications. Well I made this Tut pack so you can learn. I tried to make it simple but yet useful not all the methods I used were the best for programing but it was so you can learn from it. This pack was put together by me with some help on writing the tut from Royal.
The Pack Includes Sources and Tuts on how to:
-------------------------------------------------------
Load A Halo 2 Map with VB
Edit A Halo 2 Map with VB
Load Dependancys, LoneID's, and Reflexives with VB
Load A Halo 2 Map with C#
Edit A Halo 2 Map with C#
Load Dependancys, LoneID's, and Reflexives with C#
-------------------------------------------------------
Here are some Pics:
Load a Halo 2 map
Edit a Halo 2 Map
Dependancys, Lone ID's, and Reflexives
All these sources are for VB.net 2005 and C#.net 2005
You can download them here
VB - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId= ... lcid=0x409
C# - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId= ... lcid=0x409
Hope you learn something from all this and please dont bug me for help because I don't have the time to help everyone and if you cant learn from this you are hopeless... :p

the points of jefff's tutorial was to get people interested and convert the vb.net and add more stuff to it.VoYdE wrote:no offence to jefff but it think this one is better and maybe replaces jefff's?

although this still isnt the best. the loading tags doesnt load scripts or fix the bsp offsets and sizes.
um wowVoYdE wrote:no offence to jefff but it think this one is better and maybe replaces jefff's?

jefff's tutorial was for VB6 so nothing but a VB6 tutorial can replace it
and this is a VB8 and/or VB7 tutorial so its good for those
there is a big difference in 7/8 and 6
