Then i next bought a book from compleat dummis that thought me liberty basic, right now i am learing both c++ and visual basic .net by my self. If you have any questions about these proggraming langues just pm or AIM me.

Yeh, depends on what you mean. Some programming is like HTML, considering HTML is a programming language, just for websites. There's also other similar languages like CSS, that pretty much does the same stuff. Then there's things that I've learned like C++, Visual Basic, Basic, and JavaScript (I think Sterno already named most of those). Anyway, those programs have nothing to do with websites, but are for actual programs. But you gotta figure out which language to learn for certain things, so you don't go learning a language that can't really do what you want to do. Hope I've helped.

P.S. Er..... have I helped...? Lol, doubt it, considering I almost got lost just rereading it myself, lol. Anyway, I tried =P.

for C++, ud need a C++ compiler/runner, which is usually also an editor. i use Dev-C++, by Bloodshed software. u can google search Dev-C++, and it shuld be the first selection, i dont fully remember, but just look for the one with the bloodshed website on it. as for VB, i dunno if u can make games as ive never used VB. ive wanted to start learning, i just havent gotten the chance yet. so, if u need ne further help, ill be glad to help.
