Easy and fast way to botz
1> extract the map you want to rebuild with bots to a folder
2> open a map that has the bot you want
3> recursivley extract that actor variant <actv> into your map extracted folder
4> rebuild you map making sure to add the actor file <actr> and actor variant <actv> files in the add box
5> rename your file to <targetmap>.map
6> run HHT<halo hacking tools> locate the vehicle you want AI <ex warthogs for marines banshees-ghosts for covenants> look in the far right hand dependency listing for actv <Nulled Out> (this will be the second instance of actv towards the bottom of the list, not the first one> and click the drop down box at the bottom where it says Dependency to Swap with<____> and choose characters\yourchosenAIhere
7> save changes
8> run halo and your map
9>chnage thier graphics to the cyborg if you want in a similar fashion with HHT and swapping the models instead of the actvs, also youll need to swap thier animation trigger <antr> to the cyborgs as well or youll have a gimp looking cyborg :0.

they do move but you have to use actv of elite commanders, but its only movement based on directly comming after you after you knock them out of thier ghost, its the same principal of them flying around in a banshee, once they see you they shoot for a few times then ram you. Like i said beofre the AI is pretty boring but you can do it.

before you rebuild the map 1> open lets say b40.map with HMT3 go to actv section and choose your actor variant you want. Click the check box that says recusivley and save that INTO your folder you batched extracted blood gulch to for example. Then when you go back to rebuild the map you must go to the bottom and click the ADD button and browse through the folders in your extracted folder to characters then go into the folder of the named AI you choose and choose 2 files <filename>.actv.meta and <filename>.actr.meta then click rebuild, this should add the actor and actor variant to you map after rebuild when you reopen it up and view it with HMT3 or HHT

those steps are pretty strait forward, if your getting exception errors, list the steps you follow in order, you may trying somthing above and beyond what i described, like adding in other files or modding a corrupted/moded map. If they are not strait forward indicate wich area your having trouble with
edit, also you will get exceptions if you try to add covenant Ai to non covenant vehicles such as putting a marine into a banshee or putting as elite into a warthog that dosent have the modified set name, liek renaming warthog (W-driver) to Banshee (B-driver).

I've tried this many times, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong that's why I asked for a SUPER detailed tutorial because I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

WHA!?! Are you nuts! Timberland banshee bots! NOTHING is more fun than grabbing a hog, and driving around the course trying to lose thoses SOBs!...Like i said beofre the AI is pretty boring but you can do it.
For about 15 minutes. Then you try and jump out to get a rocket launcher, but then just run you down... n00b bots... lol...
Anyone notice how bots are fascinated by grenades though? lmao! If a banshee bot is coming towards you, simply throw a plasma behind it to it's left, and it'll turn and go admire the grenade... lol!
