Hex Editing Help NEEDED!! PLEASE HELP!!

I need someone to please show me how to change the name of a weapon. Like when it says you picked up an assault rifle I wanna change it lets say lazer rifle, how do I do that and also one more thing. I know I shouldn't ask this in here but is anyone aware on how to make a seperate set of models for a dupilcated vehicle or weapon. Thats one more thing I need to know thank you!! Your help will be greatly appreciated.

break out your hex editor and open the map. now goto find then unicode string i believe. then search for the wepon. you should be able to edit it from there.
