halo 2 hex
halo 2 hex
ok well i was just wondering, im gonnna try and teach my friend to mod halo 2 while hes waiting to get his xbox modded so hell kinda know a lil about it before he can do it. i was just wondering if i copy and paste the hex code from a halo 2 map and paste it to a word document and then opened up a new hex document and pasted it on there would the map work right. also the reason i put this in here and not in the halo 2 section is cause yall know more about this stuff. i just thought it would be a good idea for me to do so i could give him all the maps on a floppy disk instead of a cd.
I don't have a sig....

if u have hex workshop then once u have the hex file all ready to be saved, go to file, then export. and choose RTF.rtf. i think that means rich text file. but neway that kind of file can be opened in word but if u want it to be a word doc then u can just open up the rtf file and save it as a word doc. then when ure friend gets it hed have to convert it back to rtf and then go to file > import > and then select the document.
if he doesnt have word though than u can just save a txt file because that can be opened wit notepad and every computer has note padpad...
i mean note pad
