help with gmax not opening saved model

i have gmax and i have been working on a model, and i went in to open it and now it says it "cannot open due to file error" trying to open or somthing. has anyone else had this problem. or a solution to fix it.

means a bad file... unfortunalety means u've lost it... well that's what I was told..

Were you working on a gun or vehicle? If so how were you going to save it to get it into halo?

i was working on a vehicle and thanks anyway
i already started over and i was going to have someone convert it for me
