Hey,
we will both be posting our pogress on this weapon as we go. I will be recording all of my work and hosting it for all of you to watch. At the end, I hope that you won't beable to see the difference between our weapons, we will be aiming at accuracy and polygon count. I will be teaching him many new concepts to use while work with 3D Studio Max. So stay tuned We WILL keep you upated, just need to find a side pic of the gun and some time to get started

Oh you are going through this with a video? If so, awesome! I really need help modelling . I cant even make a simple building to add to my maps. The only maps I have made just have simple hills and stuff. I also cant figure out 'soft selection'. It never works on my selected faces. Maybe you could help me later? Correct me if I am wrong but isnt that weapon that your making is from Brute Force Video Game

if your still looking for a side view of it i found a pic of it ( i dont know if its the right gun though)

If noone finds a pic we're gonna have to do another gun, those side pics are always at a slight angle, that will really mess up a modeled gun
