im working on making some glass stuff in halo but i can never figure out how to make the image translucent. do you have to make an alpha map? oh yea and do i use the .shader_transparent_chicago? so confused..

and why chicago?

lets say that you want to make the ghost transperant (PC im assuming). Open the map u want. Find the ghost bitmap in HMT. Then Find the cryo glass bitmap. Just copy the meta # of the cryo glass and paste it over the ghost's and save. Then you have a totally see-through ghost.

ummm he's talking about which Shader tags in HEK

BTW its not the chicago tags because those are render only tags (don't have collision)

it might help after hes made the map

to make it transparent... finish the map convert it so u can use HMT, then do what he said
