DELETE THIS MODERATORS

Sup everybody. My prob is that I am following Kirk4's tut on making a map, but i am making my own map while i follow along (get it... neither do I). Anyways, when i cpoy the base like he says so i have two identical bases, i cannot select the vertices so i can create new ground around the base after deleting the surronding faces. Any help? I can turn the vertices on, but it still doesnt allow me to select them...

Did you attatch the base that you copied to the ground after you duplicated it?

I sure hope i havent not made my map cause of a newbular mistake like that... (im at school right now, but i assume that if i cant remember thats probably the prob) DUDE U RULE thank U

I actually like the "make new faces / vertexes" gives you pretty much freedom... Maybe its just me.

Yes, it makes it much easier. Anywho, the prob was that the copy was part of the skybox (dont ask me how that happened, base 1 was detached). So i selected all the faces of the copy and clicked detach... VIOLA!! Now i have my shit together and i just gotta get past using tool. Error this error that i dont give a fuck!
