In Gmax, go to "max script" at the top then select "run script" then browse to Chimp and open it, select "jms file" then click "export halo map"

Thats because G-Max does not support .jms files. You need to go export to listner window or whatever instead of clicking the .jms one with chimp and then use xizzy's grabber to grab the file once it is done putting the info onto the listner window. Dont ask me how to work the shit, im still haveing probs of my own but that IS what you have to do.
