Quick question about making teleporters [size] and ladders

what i need to know is how wide are the portals? and how tall?
the official HEK tut didnt say.. they got REALLY lazy and the whole thing went downhill after the first few steps. I have my map done but i'd like teleporters in my map.
ALSO
how wide are the ladders? 35 units?
