Uhh, well there would be no reason why replacing your video card would chage your sound. Unless you did something to your sound card...

Okay, over in the Halo Mac Modding General we're working on a Cops and Robbers Mod. It is going to work with PC and Mac. We need modellers to help us model some weapons. All help will be greatly appreciated. Here is the list of features and weapons and stuff needed to be modelled:
One) M-4 w/ M203 Gernade Launcher replaces assualt rifle at cops base*
Two) AK-47 replaces assualt rifle at robbers base*
Three) MAC-11 replaces pistol at robbers base*
Four) Colt M1911 replaces pistol at cops base*
Five) Cop Car replaces rocket warthog**
Six) Yukon Denali replaces warthog**
Seven) New Hud Messages
Eight) New Target Rectiles
Nine) SWAT Truck Replaces tank at cops base*
Ten) SWAT Copter Replace Banshee at cops base*

you might try changing your music settings in halo. if the music quality is set to low or something that could be the problem.

Yea, what they said. You might have knocked around your sound card by accident while installing the video card. While I was putting in a netgear wireless card into my computer a while ago, I didn't have sound. Reason being, The sound card got knocked out of place. Maybe something to check if the others didn't work.
You could also try closing all background programs. If I run winamp simultaneously with halo, the sound gets really screwed up. But that's because I have 256 RAM.
