Help with exported jms file!!

Well i exported my map from 3dmax 6 with no errors finally

...but now where and how do i open that jms file???????

OK so you exported to a .jms format so now you need to compile the .jms file using tool.exe so it can be opened in guirella. Open up the HEK tutorial and go to the section titled "level compilation". That should tell you exactly what to do with your .jms and tool.exe.

ya ok i got that far i tried tool and then it said 400 something trianbgles _they are bad or whatever_ so i opened up the new file it made in 3dma and i dint get wht was wrong cuz it said nothing was wrong so wtf.. btw my map is jus some terrain cuz i wanted to test it and c if it would work.

Yeah, ollie their was no need for that. Anyways Im trying to do the same thing as you. No models just export some terrain and make it work in halo. I got tool to compile the .jms correctly but then Im missing tags when I open the bsp file. Like in the tutorial it says the first tag should be sky, buy I dont have that anywhere once I open guirella.

Thanku for agreeing with me and btw what terrain did u create?? cuz i cant even have my terrain succesfully structured..damn errors

I got a question with the base model. Ive got all these different boxes making up the base but how do I make them become one in a sense. Connect the different pieces together. I think the term used is welding.
