energy sword for HaloCE (IN GAME PICS)

This took me about 7 hours to get as good as it is. IT will be a halo 2 style energy sword

icefire got one in that is actually glowing all the 3rd person animations are good just not the first person yet i guess he almost has it.

thats so sweet except for the fact that for some reason that he holds it with 2 hands but im sure that can be figured out later.

Is IceFire's mod for HaloCE? this is. Anyway, I'll have some new pics tonight, and I'll make it look Halo 2ish. I'm Still working on an FP model.

Its a gearbox release, it is designed for user created content (MAPS). I would recomend downloading it.

really nice work, you seem to be one of the HEK smart people...i would be but i want someone to first make a simple scen tag where theres just a flat plane with a pool of water in the center, because im having troubles with it on my 3ds max (i cant do anything with that darn camera :-\)

So... did you extract the energy sword tags from an SP map then inject them with the HEK? If so, do you plan to tell anyone how you did it?

Just the model, which had to be doubled in size almost exacly 9999 times. However, I did port one other tag, and I defenintly plan to release all info I have, pluss the source files for this, once its done.

I thought you recoordinated the whole sword fp thing.
But you give it the ID of the flamethrower.

oh and just a hint: if you are having problems with the lighting, simply switch out the sky of clear afternoon. this one i feel gives the best lighting(or you could be risky and edit your existing one to have more light, i dont recommend this). that way you can take cooler screenshots.

Thats true. But its still cool. I played a online gam with it recently, and it was awesome. We found that if you melee dead bodys with it, they slide a bit. No FP model yet, but thats only cause I don't know how to animate in MAX. I Also have a new shader to test.
