how do you make new crosshairs?

Also:anyone know where i can download HEX

By crooshairs do you mean the target thing for the weapons? That would be cool to be able to change. And by HEX do you mean HEK if so here is a link. http://67.18.44.70/

umm it is possible!!!!!!!!!!! just not for CE (yet). But if you wanna do it in Regular halo then just edit the bitmap for it. Its something like reticles or something, there will be about 11 of them or something and you won't be able to see them in Hmt so you gotta save them and open them in photoshop or whatever you use to skin. Then you just use a white brush and color what you want in or black to erase whats already there.

I didn't mean it can't be done. I meant it would be cool if I could do it. Thanks you for telling us how to do it but can you give me a more exact name for the name of the bitmap. And is it under level, effect, weapons or whatever in bitmaps?

yah i will and if you want i could give you some of the crosshair that i did. There not much of anything but they are still kinda interesting. Oh and the best way to edit them is with paint. its just easier to save them as jpeg then edit in paint then open in photo and save as .dds. (this is the way that i did it but if you prefer to it all in photo shop then you can.

ok so i finally got home now from school and then work (which i forgot to mention sry)but yah the label for them is ui\hud\bitmaps\combined\hud_reticles and there is 14 of them (you won't see then in hmt) and if you want for the sniper and stuff just scroll down a little in main bitmaps menu and it should be there. Hope this helps you.

Ok since there are 14 of them I cant tell which on is which. Right now I found ui\hud\bitmaps\combined\hud_reticles and to the right here are the 14 things.

2-64x64
3-64x64
4-64x64
5-64x64
6-64x64
7-64x64
8-64x64

10-64x64

12-64x64

14-64x64

Are these for all the different weapons? If so how can I tell which one is for what weapon?

ok im not sure which ones are which but you can tell which ones they are once you save them and open them in photoshop.

well its no problem for me to make new ones cause i have to anyway cause im doin new ones for my mod so its no trouble at all and when im done then i can show you.

Ok thanks man. I cant wait to seem them. The thing is for me when I open the croshairs in my paint shop pro8 the background is a light colored checkerboard so I'm going to have to figure out how to change the default background of the pic when its opened because I can barely see the lines.

have you ever considered getting photoshop??? Cause if you need it just pm me and i'll tell you where to get it from.
