Raining Blood?

Is there anyway to make the rain in a mod red so it looks like blood?!?
If its possible can someone do i for me... I cant even get it to rain in a MP map

thats my idea, i wanted there to be a rain plugin for HMT so i could edit the rain but i think theres a way
