HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I didn't post this in the sticky because the last post in it was on April 3... doesn't seem like it gets checked, much. Here's the problem: I am trying to figure out how to skin, and I'm making different parts of the tank different colors. However, when I try to import, it says it should be DXT5... but it is. I've even gone into Hex Workshop to verify it says that.

Also, when the pop-up comes up with all the little buttons to specify the format that you have to save in, what do you have to do? Do you only have to make sure it's DXT5? What do some of the other things do?

try adding on extra layers and just putting things on u cant see to make the file size bigger and then save it as DXT5
this happened to me once with DXT3 and i did wut i told u and it worked

Thx for the help, but I'm a noob. So I just go to Layers > Add and just add like 5 of them, then take a big brush and draw off the side?

And you saved it as a DXT3?
