I made this in 3ds max. it took me about 2 hours. it can inject back into halo but I have to do hex editing and crap like that before i do. I dont feel like doing that right now but tell me what you think.

that was the sniper rifle right.
hold shift, and drag your mouse on whatever perspectice box to zoom. then select each part and each part only[ select the scope, drag it far away from the rifle, edit it, let it sit. go to the barrel. select the barrel, move it far, edit it, let it sit. go to flashlight, select it move it edit it let it sit. then once all your pieces are modeled put it all back together.

you may be taking this the wrong way. im not "flaming" you [lol halo vocab is rediculous] just some constructive criticism.everyone says milkshape sucks its too hard to use. WRONG. its simple. very simple. you just need to know how to use it.
edit- i guarantee you
you can make a way better m16 than that in MS3D.

I really have a hard time using milkshape. Is there any secrets or hints you know that you could share because those models you make are truley amazing and I have no idea how you do that in milkshape

I'd just use 3dsmax. Milkshape isn't too good at making things. If you want to modify things, maybe. The camera in Milkshape makes me sick.

i just made an M16. brb. this just goes to show MS3D can do more if you just learn how to use it.
some tips- seperate the model! take everything apart, scope, clip, mechanism, barrel, flashlight, select
symmetrical pieces like i.e. barrel surpressor. use
rotate, scale, and move, etc.. dont try to manually create shapes with vertices. Hold shift+ drag to zoom in/out.
