Something I'm working on for my animation class. Pretty high poly and a little more messy then my usual work, but I've gotta do this quick to be handed in next week. It's still very underdetailed, rough work right now. Stuff like lights, doorknobs, gutters etc still needs to be added. Also, going to need to find some good rendering tutorials, want this to look as nice as possible for a good mark. I'd ask Veegie for some advice, but I dunno what his schedules like, or if he's particularily fond of me, lol. Once the due date is past I might go back and clean up the model a little, but for now it can stay dirty :p

I think the "bricks" are extruded too much and a bit too far apart. Nice job though.

QFT, and you can take the bricks and siding off and just skin it in with a bump modifier, it will turn out alot better

Since it's not for a game, I'd rather just model it on. There's no way a bump can ever look better then the real thing. Also, bricks were just a personal style. Not many people like their bigness, lol. That's alright, I can understand why, I just like it like this. Sets it apart a little imo.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way or not, but the attic vent looks very low poly.

Yeah, it's something I copied off my own house. It's just an octagonal thingy, meant to be blocky. Also, you guys think I should put more time into this and finish it?

Wow, a little dirty? I'll say
Just kidding it's way better than crappy old me and crappy old gmax could do. Do you have any plans to somehow make it into a halo map? That would be AWESOME. And not just you being a tiny thing waddling all over the inside of the house, make it life-size and be able to walk in the lawn and all. Or let some 1337 map maker like the guys who made coldsnap or hugeass or something make it into like a neighborhood, that would pwn every other map in existence.
Or better yet make it a halo 2 vista map. Cause it's newer and all.
