Dunno, was in the mood for a gun, so I chose the Spectre M4. If you don't know this gun, it is similiar to the Phantom from Golden Eye

Unfortuanetly, I used a boolean on one part, so no wirefrime for you. The boolean operator hates me or something, and it adds like 50 hundred polygons, but luckily, I can conserve polygons pretty well and I managed to clean a little up, I'm at like 1200-1400

I know I still need the clip, and the trigger, and some bolts, but any other suggestions or innacuracy, please feel free to post.

Btw, I am not a pr0 modeler, this is a learning experience for me and actually one of my first, possibly second gun model.

No smoothing groups till the end

K enough of me

pretty nice, but can we see a wireframe? so we can see where the other 10k pollies went? cus for a gun that size to be in halo needs to have a max of 2.5k pollies, well it can have more but that would be a waste.

New render:

I booleaned again, so it is about 1500 or 1700 polygons

It isn't done, but I put a smoothing group on the handel because it really needed it

Now I'm going outside.

It needs smoothing and its too boxy.

Yes, the handles are quite boxy. And I can see smoothing errors on the handle. Also, I can't quite tell how you got 1200-1400 polies into that.

its pretty good, but maybe make it more smooth around the sides (not by smooth groups, but by more faces etc. then smooth it with smooth groups. Also post a wireframe (when ur done with them model, so we can see ur Polly Distrubtion, and see how POORLY u wasted ur pollies.. lol jk, but still post a wireframe, it helps assess how well u did on ur model, polly wise.

For a second gun model, it's not bad. Needs less boolean, though.
