longsword mod

i know its been tried before, but i almost got a longsword (bomber) into death island. it loaded, and was fine but when i went to use hmt to swap it in, it gave me an exceptoin error. i also tried hht and spark edit but nada.

anyone got any ideas? all the files are there.

ps what is HEK? halo editing kit?

the longsword isnt a vehicle its a piece of scenery. HEK is a tool that will help everyone alot

in d40 its under scenery i think im not home rite now so im not sure. mayb its a vehicle i never checked but if it is sry 4 my mistake

If in HHT Halo Hacker Tools then your in the D40 map and you want to swap the Warthog the Depindence swap has a Vehicles Fighterbomber so it is a vehicle.Just wanted to give you proof not to flame. :D

:( Unfortunatly the Longsword is only in movies not in any in-game stuff... Otherwise like the Pelican it would be possible...

but if it's a scenery piece thingy thing.... then couldnt u inject the model over the banshee model??? try that.

In Hmtv3 the Fighterbomber in the Maw is Scenery but in HHT the Fighterbomber in the Maw is a vehicle starnge

That would not work. Heres why, the banshee is actually a series of s and the fighterbomber is just one. Also, the fighterbomber's vertices and indices don't match up right. In order to get this to work, you need to somehow edit the .vehi meta tag to look for the in the new rebuilt map, and not where it was looking b4. Otherwise it will be looking in the wrong place and you will recieve an exception error. I've been trying to get this to work for quite sometime now. Since, so many people are interested in this, I will attempt to get a group going. If you are interested please PM me....

u can do it. i got it with a perfect model into bg. but hmt crashes when u try and save

it's the mod2 not the .vehi...hope this helps you out :wink:

i got it into bg, and all the files were there but the model was invisible (no coll model) but in spark it looked fine. you could tell it was there cuz u could see the light from the engines
