O Snap, SON! What is that? Another gun? Yup! 2 skins? Yup!
Some people prefer matte black, some prefer nickel plated. This is a W.I.P. I have yet to do the dot pattern on the grip, and also some work on the bullets (because they look like crap to me) and a few other things. Long story short, work in progress.
Maybe you all see where this is going? Hm?
enjoy.

like i said on aim <3 but i must say after looking them over they both look equally awsome, maybe make a dual pair just for fun and hide ti somewhere, one black, one chrome :p

looks beatiful. just curious as to how you did the cylinder? in my attempts to make a revolver, i was stopped at booleaning holes in the cylinder while keeping them in the right places, etc.

what i did was take one new cylinder and made it the appropriate diameter, and placed it accordingly in line with the barrel, then adjusted its pivot point to match the large cylinder's. then i rotated copies of the bullet chamber 360 (degrees in a circle) divided by 10 (number of shots x2) degrees. Then I selected the main cylinder and attached the 5 inside using attach. then i just built faces around it. pretty much the same process for the indentations on the outside of the drum.

Definitely the nickel-plated one. It shows much more detail, even under low lighting.

Simply. Amazing. Nice detail on the shells in the first 2 pics.

Looks great, I love those type of guns. I like the chrome on better at the moment, but I do like the black on a gun. I think maybe just the words should be brighter or something, it's hard to see them. Cool.

Lighter colors always show better detail because of the levels of contrast associated with them. My Laptop charger decided to crap out, so I can't work on my stuff at the moment. I'll be back in business soon, I hope.

looks good snaf, the chrome one is much better than the black. maybe add more definition to the highlights expecially on the drum

the way you uv mapped the drum makes it a little difficult to do anything spectacular :p lol. but yeh, point taken, it's still a work in progress.
