Use Hmt to extract the bitmap. Then open in photoshop by using dds plugin found at nvidas site to open the file. Edit it then save it as DXT1 and inject it into HMT2 and save and you have your texture.

Ok where do I get hmt and are the bitmaps the bitmaps.map thing in the map folder?
and is HMT2 the same as HMT?
