Question about particle system

Would it be possible to add rain or snow to bloodgulch by using 3ds max 6's Particle system creation tool thingy?

I dont' think anyone has pulled it off....and 3ds max isn't going to have any part in putting particles in Halo...it requires rebuilding and such

what do you mean rebuild like rebuild the whole map?
and if so what would u use to rebuild it?

particle systems arnt just things u can export into somthing else, u couldnt even import it into maya without alot of troubles. putting it into a game is impossible, because its its own code, ud have to make new code in the game for it to even work, basically ud be making it from scratch in the game. later might be possible to take the rain from guilty spark and put it in and maybe change it to snow but not now.
