Jetpack for BG

Here is my mod of a jetpack, it looks cool when you play. Let me know what you think.

hey not bad, first to actually do that i think, skinning could use some help but all around nice, that was a good idea using the banshee like that, ur thinkin like a good modder just keep it goin

Nice job on the jetpack!
Although if you release it, change some physics and stuff, because it will fly like the Banshee, the exact same way!

new age u change your sig every day....for the physics, i would try and make it faster than the banshee, keep same speed backwards, maybe change rotation and such.

well I have made it faster, it now sounds like a jetpack. Also when you stop flying it will just hover in mid air. I am having it shoot sniper bullets right now, but trying to get it so you can use whatever weapon that you have on hand.

spider to make it so that you can shoot whatever weapon you want:
in MNT 3 go to the banshee and then on the bottom it should say if you want the MC to be invisible, blah blah third person, blah blah, and then check the box that says MC uses weapons. then uncheck MC fires weapons or whatever it is. this will let him use his own weapon but not let him fire the banshees gun... one question though. how are you going to do the camera angle?
and can you post more pics please?

Well I have tried checking the mc uses weapons, and unchecking file weapon, but nothing will happen. I will figure out the camera angle when I get this to work. If you can figure it out, let me know. I got in the jetpack with a sniper and could not use it.
I will post more pics. when I remodel it and make it look a little bit better. When it is all done, I will release a short video clips so you can see it in action. Hope it is done by the end of the week.

Doesn't work. You will have to change the position he sits in such as change the seat name to W-passenger or SocrpionLF he will shoot his wep but will look like he's sitting.

i know that but we dont want him to be sitting.. if only there were a way o alter the way the MC looks while sitting

Try the tags that start with A like actor varient and animation trigger. You may find something there.

I tried to insert B-passanger where it says B-driver and I can't even get in it then. But still can't figure out a way to use MC Weapons. I checked use MC Weapons but nothing happens.

I don't know where the animations are stored in the mapfile so I was just trying to make some suggestions. Either way I'll keep an eye out for anything that could aid you. This is a really cool project.
Also can you post what you have for dl on files.halomods I would like to take what you have and play with it a bit in HMT to see if I can help with the gun problem.

add some flames at the exhausts... it cant be that hard, use the burning_flames particle
