Looking for a rigged Halo 2 Spartan.
My friends and I are going to make a series of movies. But i need a rigged Halo 2 Spartan. I'll be making the movies within 3ds max. So if anyone is willing to give me or tell me where to get a Halo 2 Spartan. I would be very thankful and put your name in the credits. Thanks again.

If there were some way to send just the rig data, like the skeleton, and not the model or bitmaps, that would be fine. However I don't know if that's possible.ledhedgn wrote:if i had the models and bitmaps i extracted from my maps put into an archive, could i get someone to rig it all for my, not creating the skeleton or creating alpha maps and such, just putting on the skin or physique modifire and making it work, would that be legal?

Yeah, it sucks, but it's the law. Your best bet would probably to check out some 3ds Max tutorials and try rigging one yourself.BobtheGreatII wrote:Well see i'm originally from halomaps.org. They pointed me in this deriction. I just figured because of all the renders on the main page that someone had one. I had no idea its illegal. Sorry.

what i ment was, i have everything set up, skeleton and all set up, if i were to send it to someone who has rigged the model before, and have him just get the skin or physique modifier working for me, would that be illeagle?The_Hushed_Casket wrote:If there were some way to send just the rig data, like the skeleton, and not the model or bitmaps, that would be fine. Ok well thank you everyone for all the posts. I did originally start rigging one but then the file got lost
Is it possible to get the official model out of halo 2 along with the bitmaps and bumpmaps. I heard that it isn't illegal that you do this as long as you have halo 2.... which i do. I would be glad to rig it myself i just need the model. The one that bungie released for halo ce doesn't exactly work. And i'm not recording anything in halo. I'm making the entire series of movies in 3ds max. I have the halo 2 elite. So no i'm not going to record anything in halo. I may though for some dramatic first person shots.
