my dropship (WIP)

this is my first model that ive posted or that i think is worth to show anyone, its supposed to be a transport plane that can fly fast like an airplane and hover and land like a helicopter with pivoting propeller wings, it would also carry i dunno like 10 people with a sealed passenger bay. so tell me what you think.

heres a view of where people would sit and out the back you can see where the door would close up

ty, but i still am a horrible texture so im not gonna texture it yet cuz that will just murder the model, and does anyone know why a texture looks fine and all neat and everything but when u click off of that poly or rotate the view the texture gets messed up?

looks alright. kinda like a flying brick, so, maybe you'll want to give it a little cooler look as you go along.

Make it a little thinner and less boxy, also the tail seems huge and try to make it have organic flow. I like the design add more detail

Looks alright, make it a little more aerodynamic though. Make the tail narrower and maybe give it a full delta wing design.

Its a chart displaying the aerodynamics of a commercial airplane. I don't really think it would matter, just thought I'd put it out there in case you wanted to

If it is a hovering craft. i dont think it would need that tail..

It needs horizontal stability, actually. As it doesn't have have a HUGE cross-section, yes, it does need a fin of some sort.

ok well i cant make it more thinner because its supposed to have 10 people inside and they need thick walls or else someones gonna get a killtacular, also the tail is there so that it can fly like a plane because the wings are going to pivot like the osprey the us marines are going to use, and it also needs to be that big because i want it to be able to re-enter an atmosphere.

heres a shotgun ive been workin on for the last hour, it was really simple to make but i think it looks good, well its more like a super shotgun cuz its gonne fire like 8 shotgun rounds at once to clear a room.

if it shoots 8 shotgun shells at once (or rather, the equivalent) make it load manually. like, shoot, open breech, take out shell, insert new round, close breech.

Yeah it doesn't look much of a shutgun. But hey look at the positive you could spin it off and use it as a Weapon for the dropship...

I don't think it looks that bad, I mean, for a thought up weapon.
But I agree, it should just be a weapon on the dropship.

i think it looks great as a made up weapon. just a little working on and some smoothing in the right places and it'll be good. just because it's a weapon doesn't mean it has to look realistic.

well this sucks, apparently the gmax exporter doesnt do animations from what ive been told, so i dunno what to do, i got a crappy texture on it now and ive added a knife below the huge barrel, and some other things, but still is it possible to get it ingame with gmax format?

It is possible using chimp, except your weapon will not have a fp model.
