Skinning in Milkshape

I've made my model in milkshape and have also skinned it. When I export I do everything I usually do for a regular model injection including coppying the mtl but whenever I open up the map I injected it to the models there and everything but the skin I made isn"t.
My question is, HOW DO I GET A SKIN I MADE IN MILKSHAPE TO WORK!!!!
o ya can someone pleaze tell me how to post a pic

i think you need tu unwarp the skin, but i don't really know milkshape.
and how to post a pic:
upload your pic on imageshack.us or photobucket.com.
it will generate tags for you with

or something similiar.
copy that in your post, and voila

you cant uvwunwrap in ms3d.
its really a pain to skin in it but once you learn its not to bad

you have to use photoshop and edit the .dds
get a photoshop .dds importor and export the current .dds from hmt then import the edited one
thats if its for pc. if its for ce its alot longer process

Oh so skinning the model in milkshape doesnt work.
It's gay because in milkshape when i'm skinning i know whats happening but when I'm in photoshop I havent got a clue on what I'm coloring.
Well if I must I must, I'll post a pic of it colored by photoshop.

you can add what it is on an edge.
say, the skin for thye trigger has the word "trigger" on it
then export the skin and edit it with photoshop?
so you know what part you are skinning

it didnt work, could you be a bit more specific, how do i get my model that i made and skinned in Milkshape into my custom game, more specifically the SKIN, the model goes in fine

you have to extract the skin, edit it with photoshop, save it as a .dds, open up hmt, open your map, go to the [bitm]objects/weapons/*yourweapon* tag,
click import bitmap and select your bitmap
