Making a Projectile On 3ds max 8

Im trying to find out to make a custom projectile i imported the rocket in to 3d max then make my projectile linked it to the frame and exported it as a jms file. when i try to comple with tool "tool model weapons\fruit_gun\projectile" it just does nothing. i wanted to know how to make my projectile or if there is a tutorial on how to. Please help me.

did u save it under data\weapons\fruit_gun\projectile\models?
make sure it is in a models folder
your cammand is rite
and if your using cutom bitmaps compile them and shaders first
