after skinning ground on bloodgulch HELP!!

After i skin the ground and the cliff rocks on bloodgulch i run the game and my skin that i done is their no probs with that
But if i save the map from the maps folder and try to use it later on some time my skined ground and all is not there so if i re inject my texture it will work again
so how do i save the new skined ground and all with the new injected texture so it is in the map for good so i can work on it or use it when ever i like need help on this one
