New Vehicle

Hello, I recently have started modding. I have all the programs up and running and have been modding away at Halo Trial for about 2 or 3 months now. I have tackled skinning, HMT, and SparkEdit. I have decided to start modeling. I have dowanloaded 3 different modeling programs ("Gmax", "Wings3d", "MilkShape") to make my models with.
Here is my first complete vehicle model. I have taken the liberty of flaming my self: "3 words: Never model again."
Can someone please tell me how to get this into Halo Trial and replace it with the warthog model. When I try, I get all that new indices stuff.

You are supposed to just extract the original model of lets say the warthog and then just move the vertices because they have to match exactly for it to inject and work.

well, ur supposed to make it a .obj and rebuild into a map, im not sure how but i think there is a tutorial...

Thank you for your help. How would I do the thing with the vertices of the warthog?
How do I rebuild the map with the new model? It asks for a .meta file all I have is my Buggie.obj file?

For the vertices just dont make ur own. Import the games vehicle and only move the verts around so that it has the exact same as before.

there is a tutorial somewhere use the search button (i hate it i cant figure it out just try it)

Yeah. Move them around but don't add or delete ANYTHIING, the game will crash every time you try open the map with that in.

Do I have to use the vertices, or can I have just a bunch of blank vertices in my model?
What does it mean when it breaks the model down? (I got an error on this when importing)

Just move the currnet ones and dont worry about anythng else.

u rebuild the model into the map, as in not editing the current model just making a model from scratch and getting it in game

you just have to go into hmt, and inject them...

Not if it's a totally custom model, it will crash Halo.

ya i had the same damn problem i created an awesome baby deagle and mark 23 w/ lazer and supressor and i wanted to get it into the game but then i read asked one of my friends and well u see where this is going.
this helps me though thank you.
