Unfinished Thompson SMG Model with AC3D

This is kinda like my 3rd model but first real gun model.
So it's the first time I try to model a real weapon. This is the thompson smg used in WW2.
Sorry for the bad texture, I don't like it myself, i'm not good at texturing with this program, I tried my best, and for the gun handel, well i'm already embarassed of that

might try looking at some ref pics with diff angles maybe? and try redoing the handle looks crap

Definately use reference pics. Try plane modeling, the way you're doing it (primitive modeling) wastes polygons, and (no offence) looks terrible. That's really just 4 boxes. Look at Katarn's 'Gun modeling for Dummies' post, it's stickied.
