halo 1 bases needed help

this is starting to get on my nerves, i've been searching all over for those 3dsmax models of the halo 1 bases, but i can't find the link or any forums with posted links. please help.

You can extract the bases from the game yourself! It's been a looong time since I tried, and I don't exactly remember how you get the map model out of the game, but I'll give you what I remember:
extract the map model out of the game, open it in milkshape as a .obj then save as i think it was .dxt or some CAD format, then you can open it in 3ds max! using this method it should extract as a perfect model! You can just delete the poly's around the bases and save it as a max file. Then do your modding magic and turn it into a scenery object or whatever you feel like doing with it

. BTW the map won't be textured, textures get lost in the milkshape transfer.
