save as dxt2-3 in photoshop

I have photo shop and I need to know how to save as dxt2-3 in photoshop i downlaod a plugin for photoshop from nvidia.com but it saves as (whateveritsnameis.dds.dxt3) i have made a crome ghost and i want to import it into hmtv3 please help me

Okay, when you press CTRL-S or go to file save, a menu comes up. On the top of the menu, there is a pull down menu. This is where you select this.
its not in that menu

its not in that menu and i was wondering do I need a plugin and if so where can i get it

Strange, thats not supposed to happen. Did you get the two DLL files on the right of the link where you downloaded the plugin?

I downloaded and put them into the windows folder as it said and it let me open .dds files but not save as dxt how did you get yours was it a plugin?

Save it as a .dds format.
Then it should bring you to a screen to select the dxt format
