n00b question (sry)

I am a n00b (and it sucks) so sorry in advance. Ok, i got the dds plugin but I still can't open the .dds files. I even put it in the plugins folder and everything. I have photoshop 5.0, can anybody tell me what to do (sorry for the stupid question, plz don't flame me!)

does dds come up in the pull down menu when u try to open somthing?

you also have to remember to download the ".dds .dll files" that was my prob

No dds does not come up in the pulldown menu.

restart photoshop after u put the plugin in
