Photoshop is the best but it costs money.

Or you can use a program called convim to convert .dds to .bmp. Look in the ultilities section on the files forum. (Might be on the 2nd or 3rd page)

you can either use:
ms paint
adobe photoshop
jasc paint shop pro
for ms paint tho, you need a program that converts the file formats, as BEEF!!! just mentioned

i got jasc paintshop pro or whatever but i cant open bitmaps or anything why not?

Use covim and the new paint program: Paint.net
Paint.net is a new program that is a super MSpaint yet a not-so-super (by about 23%) paintshop. It was orginally gonna be made my microsoft and some guys in college until the project was dropped. Then those college guys decided to finish it. Its only beta now, but it can still be downloaded. When it is 100% finished....it will be a paintshop free version basically

do i convert the bitmaps into dds files and then open them in photoshop if so where can i get the second convertor mentioned in this topic???

Theres also a (working) keygen around to make the photoshop a full version from the trial one. (I cant say where due to restrictions and to protect the site). Its called paradox.
