Help!, changing the sounds of things mainly guns

Hi, i need help, i can use hex editor well, change projectile an so fourth, but i dont know how to change the sounds, eg, i have the tank machine gun shooting needle's ( from needler ) but it still sounds like the machine gun, how do i change it so it looks and sounds like a needler

then go to sounds and swap the meta of the needler with the tank bullet
