Injection question

I just started to skin, so please don't flame me if me question is noobish. I recently modified a warthog texture. I injected it and loaded up Halo to the map I injected it in to see if everything was fine. It worked normally. However, when I played a different map, I noticed that the new warthog texture was still there, even though I didn't inject it into that map. Is there a way to overcome this?

Ok, here's the logical way to do this:
1) The bitmaps folder has the change so make a copy of bitmaps.map and put it somewhere.
3) Now pop in your Halo CD, and Explore it.
4) There should be some Cab files lying around in some place or another, open them with winRAR.
5) One of the 6 Cabs contains bitmaps.map.
6) Copy them and paste them into your MAPS folder.
*When you want to play with your skins, put the Bitmaps.map file back into the MAPS folder.

I meant is there any way to have the warthog texture I made only work with the one map? Or does the game read the same file for every map?

When you skin something, the texture isn't changed in the map file, but in Bitmaps.map which is where all levels (single and multiplayer) get their textures from. In other words, the WH will stay the same in every level.

Yea, but some bitmaps don't get applied to all levels, such as the pistol. I injected my new texture in infinity and it only gets applied to infinity, unlike the warthog.
