Putting a modded map into halo 2 such as... descencion

yea i have the map file for descencion and i ftpd into my xbox and i dont i copied it into the maps folder and it didnt work... can anyone tell me how to get this thing to work...it seems like theres alot more to do then drag and drop... there also seems to be alot of people asking the same question...there maybe needs to be a real noobie... tutorial for us... i mean...so easy anyone could do it...can anyone step up to the call... remember you were all noobs at one point... please help
