Nothing is wrong with your map just reload it again. Plus it says that you didn't lose any progress so that's good. When it happened to me I lost almost everything I did...had to start over from scratch  .
If it keeps happening it's probably something wrong with 3ds Max.

this exact thing is happening to me too
i already tried completly from scratch, linked everything to the frame, and applied a multi/sub object material to every single thing. i am using max 6. please help this is urgent

if someone could say how to post img it would help.

if someone wanted could they export it for me or try to fix it as i have done this three times now and all the same error. i know its not my max as it is fresh and i exported the HEK tut one perfectly.

that would be an error. most likely an internal error in max. re copy the dlls or make sure theyre all there.

do an STL check, search for problems in the material editor. Idk what it is, just try a few things.

Ok, the same very thing happens to me. Here is what you do. Download my new .jms exporter for 3ds max 8.
This is a exporter made in GMAX and modified to 3ds max 8. For some reason, 3ds max 8 wont use blitzkreig. Just go this site and download the AEGIS script.

That is the script. just read the readme
