I have 3ds max 8 and the export is for 4.2 or something can someone help me

O.o! Max 8 is out, gotta download that
Im not sure if there is a Max 8 plugin, but the Max 6 plugin worked for my Max 7, so go to
www.cortana.org
And download the Max 6 plugin, maybe it will work

i hate to double post but for some reason i cant export with *.Jms when i do it says
" NO ACTORS TO EXPORT "

did you link it to the frame?
You cant export it if you havent linked it to the reference frame

press the link button, hold on the object you want to link and drag to the frame (it should show a dotted line running from the center of the object you want to link to the frame)
You do have a frame?
if not the create a box and name it
frame
