Uh-oh

Okay...in all the tutorials I read it said to make a backup copy of the MAPS folder in the main Halo folder, so I did. I then imported a really crappy warthog skin (it just had bright pink writing such as A, B, C, so I could identify what's what). I tested it in game and it worked. I want to remove it...so I put the copy of the bloodgulch map I had back into the main file, and opened up the Warthog with HMT3.....and it's still there.

Did I not revert it to it's previous stage correctly? Is it possible for someone to upload a regular bloodgulch map, for me to download it on these forums, replace the one I messed up, and have everything be fine?

your gonna need to switch the bitmaps.map file back to the original b/c that is what changes when you change the textures

I'm having a different problem, but it's got something to do with skinning nevertheless.

When I want to inject a bitmap I altered (in DDS format), it first prompts me, asking me if I want to update its size. Nothing wrong with that, so I click okay. But then I get an error saying something like this:

"Invalid Header:
You must choose a valid DDS format texture."

What did I miss?

Say you don't want to update it's size....works for me.
