I had this happen, if your texture you inject is of the wrong type such as DXT1/2/3 or somthing totally different or nto saved exaclty as the old file, for example if you inject it and it says it is to small or to big, when it resizes it wrong. In your case it has turned lets say a 512x512 file into a 512x128 file where half of the texture is being applied by the sky shadder since the file is 512x512 orignally. I had to play around with several different saves till i got it to replace just right.

Well, the sky bitmap isn't a dxt 1, 2, or 3. Its an A8R8G8B8. Photoshop 5.0 doesn't allow you to save anything to that. I remember hearing somebody say that a DXT2/3 would work but.....

I got it to work!! There isn't an A8R8G8B8 but there's an ARGB!! I made the sky look like a sunset type sky! I'm so freakin' happy! :shock:
