Blender Moddelling *whatever*

I have Blender for a modelling program and i need help:
how can i export/import a banshee model from HMT 3.5 or sparkedit to blender and remodell it?
please help a n00b

well i dunno if iot would work with blender cause we had some problems with it.Well another problem is you got a certain amount of vetices and you can just move them but not add or delete some.Some programs like 3ds max an gmax add automatically vertices and make the model useless.A program that worked preetty well is Milkshape

I haven't fiddled with import/export, but I know that Blender reads the HMT exported models just fine, including all the odd webbing all over them.

I got gmax now and it says it works with halo and i want to remoddel a banshee into a bomber looking thing, is there away i can import/export it so that is looks like the banshee and i add things on it
