how do you insert skins ?

I was wondering if someone could tell what program to use and how to import skins for xbox halo 2
First off, this is in the wrong forum. This section of the forum is for Halo CE and Halo Editing Kit questions. Can someone move it please?
Second off, I did a quick look around. I don't mod Halo 2, but that doesn't mean I can't try and help.
Here. This deals with changing the sky, but from the looks of it, it is the same process as changing any of the bitmaps (skins).
