halo1-getting rid of turret

how do i get rid of the turret in halo1 pc, i have tried in hmt changing the shader model to glass, that didnt work, sumone plz help me
nvm to that i jsut dled milkshape and remolded the hog without the turret, no more turret and hello my first civi hog, all you do is go to select then group click the turret scale it down a few hundred times and wala(you have to do the same thing to different models of it like 0hull 1hull etc, also with teh barrel)
