Help Me Out Here

When I download someone elses mods in the downloads section, how do I actually add them to Halo PC to get them to work? I have a few saved I want to use but I don't know how to put them in Halo so I can actually see the skins, shoot the wrong ammo, and jump till I hurt myself. lol

Please Help Me :?:

Allright, nvm, its working. I have it up and I put in the map I wanted to apply the patch to but every time I open a file for a patch (the ones I downloaded out of the PPF patch section), it says the file is not a valid PPF file? How do I get over this hurdle?

You might be doing something wrong. I had that error before, can't remember how to fix... :(

I'll just put it how it works until it goes wrong so mayB u can help...I open the PPF Patch-O-Matic thing and I put the Bloodgulch map in. I move down to the second line where I am supposed to add the file where the PPF patch is located, then I browse until I find it but then it says it not valid, I saved the PPF under my deliveries. The patch was nosh's Blood Gulch Mod. Also, once I figure out how to apply the patch, aftert I say insert, will it ask if I want a backup BG?

rename the file and add .ppf at the end (ya it sounds dumb but it works)

I did what you said...but is says it is still an invalide PPF file. I added .ppf to the end and when I opened it, it said .ppf.rar, I dont know if that did something to it but please help me.

I just tried a .ppf file already made into one and it did load with the PPF-O-Matic and I closed it down but when I played, the map was still normal. Am I also supposed to get the mod from a certain place? I am extracting them from the HALO game and saving them under a selected file, what am I missing here?

well....been there, done that....its nothing I haven't already read before, I still need to know how to unrar it. The tutorial is not descriptive enough for me cause I am a modding noob. Can someone just tell me without a link?

ps-after is is finally a ppf file and I apply it to the map with the PPF-O-Matic and it doesn't work(this keeps happening), what could I have done wrong?
