There are some great tuts for how to make a map but there is one problem, in all of them (exept one) you need 3ds max, however i do not own 3ds max so this is a problem! can someone please help me to make a map without usin 3ds max? thanks for your time.

well right now im usin milkshake 3d but if you have any recomendations then ill use them.

download a free trial of 3ds max for 30 days, and if you arent up to buying it after that time, you can get gmax and the handy chimp exporter. gmax is free, but you cannot animate or make bipeds, only make scenery and levels. weapons are meh... i dont think they are possible
