Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

AR-19A1 Rifle

Post by rossmum »

This is a made up weapon for my Insurgency mod for CoD. Took all of about 2 or 3 hours to do; around 1700 polies.

I might add to it later.

Yeah, the light kinda hides the details... wireframe on the way though.

Ok done. Here:

It's so high because I thought that I had low enough poly to just go for a full donut on the barrel. Most of them went into the barrel.

suggestion, dont wate poly inside the gun on stuff you dont see ever and have the barrel as a solid, like a cylinder or something, bcos when you come to texturing it can look exactly the same.

Yeah, but I'm too lazy to optimise it at the moment. I'll delete those bits later when I need to. Also I made the whole barrel a donut because it was so low poly I could afford to do it.
